3. International Women’s Day Celebration

4. Industrious Women

  • Date: March 8th-9th, 2025
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Location: Blists Hill Museum, Ironbridge
  • Details: A free guided tour, led by the town’s Victorian residents, will shed light on women’s role during this period of massive change. At midday the streets of the town will be brought to life with a suffragist rally where visitors can join in the fight for votes for women.

5. Spring Gift Fayre

  • Date: March 15th & 16th, 2025
  • Location: Engine House, Highley
  • Details:  A whole host of suppliers will be selling local and hand-made goods. The Engine House will be open from 10.45am – 4.30pm each day (last entry 4pm). Entry to the fayre is free, but the best way to get to The Engine House is by heritage train travel and you’ll be able to travel by steam or heritage diesel locomotive.

6. Ironbridge Half Marathon

  • Date: March 23rd, 2025
  • Location: Telford & Ironbridge
  • Details: The 13 mile route is a down and up, multi-surface, one lap loop. Starting at the QEII Arena in Telford Town Park, through the beautiful Severn Gorge, past many attractions such as Blists Hill Museum, Coalport China Museum, and over the World Heritage Ironbridge itself. 7. Peter Rabbit Visits the Severn Valley Railway

  • Date: March 29th & 30th, 2025
  • Location: Severn Valley Railway
  • Details: Take an exciting heritage train ride out into the countryside to see Peter Rabbit and listen to tales of his adventures at regular intervals throughout the day at The Engine House Visitor Centre. Trains will be operating between Kidderminster and Hampton Loade only.
