Is there car parking available?
There are 7 parking spaces within the enclosed grounds and exclusive to the carriage.
Carriage 1: Maximum 4 spaces
Carriage 2: Maximum 3 spaces

Is linen provided?
We provide bed linen, towels and tea towels.

How good is the mobile reception?
Reception varies, here’s our experience so far…

Can I get a secure wireless network?
The signal strength varies depending on where you are on the site.

Is there a welcome pack?
We provide tea, coffee, milk, and sugar.
We do try and ensure that everything is Fairtrade as far as possible.

Do you have facilities that cater for babies?
A cot and highchair are available. We can usually supply additional items if requested in advance.

Is there a babysitting service?
Please request this at time of booking – we will help you arrange a local, qualified, registered sitter for your holiday dates.

Can I bring a pet?
Sorry, no pets allowed. We have a number of cat and dog kennels in the vicinity:

Can we invite visitors?
Yes, by prior arrangement. Please let us know by email as soon as you can so we can add their details onto your booking record. Note that visitors are not permitted to stay overnight.

Can I smoke?
Smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the wooded grounds, or in the carriages. For your safety and peace of mind we have installed a high technology fire detection system.

May we bring fireworks?
Unfortunately fireworks may not be used in this area of woodlands. Instead please take advantage of the firework season by attending one of several fabulous firework events within walking and driving distance. Chinese lanterns are also banned as we are situated in farming land.

Access statement
This is a small country railway station in a rural setting and as such may be unsuitable for persons with a severe walking disability. There is a gravel car park, to get to the carriages, you need to walk down a gravel path which has a slight slope and onto the platform. To gain access to the carriages you have to go up several steps with hand rails on both sides. Unfortunately the carriage doors are original and are unsuitable for wheelchair access. How much is the booking deposit?
We require 40% deposit.

Is there a damage deposit?
We do require a Β£100 breakage deposit.
